Smart Growth Analytics were selected by a panel to evaluate the Bristol Means Business £4 million European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Objective 2 funded project, which ran from April 2003 - December 2005.
"Smart Growth Analytics were chosen because of their clear understanding of the complexities of the European funding stream, and of the outcomes and outputs that the project sought to deliver. Their expertise in this area was so good that their work helped us improve our data capture procedures. This was particularly welcome in the face of the rigorous audit procedures we faced from the Government Office for the South West (GOSW), ensuring that all our project claims were watertight."
"Jim Plunkett-Cole managed an expert team well, and together they worked flexibly around our partnership of eleven not-for-profit agencies. Reporting to me in my role as project manager, Jim was clear and timely in his communications, setting expectations well as we went along."
"As well as Jim's dexterity with the data we had captured in the project, what was most impressive was his ability to access and use relevant economic statistics available in the public realm. His delivery of the whole evaluation was on schedule and to the agreed budget, his presentations to our team were faultless, and his professionalism was absolute."
"Jim is possibly the most impressive colleague I have ever had the pleasure to work with."
